Weekly Roundup

The primer is going on the house! The crew has been hard at work taking care of all the prep work which includes a lot of extra steps to safely work around the lead-based paint. I’ll be sharing lead safety tips in an upcoming blog post, but until then, here’s a preview of how things are looking with primer!

I bought a few things for a new baby joining our extended family soon. I picked all the things on the registry that I found so helpful in the newborn days and we’re still using with a nearly two-year-old. They include this nail filer (seriously the best - we use it daily), a weighted wipes dispenser, this nose picker, a car mirror, and a stroller fan.

We all want to help the birds, but please do not leave bits of yarn, fabric, or human hair out for birds as nesting materials. Hatchlings can easily become entwined even in natural fibers that have been processed. These fibers can also attract predators or cause mold. Learn more here.
