Weekly Roundup

The backyard renovation is chugging along! We have a fence and arbor which has totally changed the feel of the entire backyard - I’ll share more on that soon. In the meantime, I’ve been going back and forth about a playhouse for Margot. I wanted to get one in so it could be established now and plantings could grow in around it, but I think I’ll pause for now and get it as a birthday gift in a year or so. But also, this is so cute I might just get one now. Or maybe I’ll wait. Or maybe I’ll get this climbing structure. Or maybe I’ll wait. I clearly can’t make up my mind.

Speaking of Margot’s birthday, she turns one in about a month! We don’t plan on doing a big bash or investing in too much, but I am thinking about making (or buying) a felt crown like this, this, or this.

We recently watched a few movies that we highly recommend! The Farewell, C’mon C’mon, and The Worst Person in the World.

I got lots of the same question recently: “what sealer did you use on your marble kitchen counters, and how often do you seal them?” The answer is: “I use this sealer, and I never have to re-seal them!” Here’s all the details on how to seal the stone.
