Meet Margot!
/We have a baby!
Read MoreWeβre having a baby so so soon! Along with reading all the parenting books, prepping a nursery, finding the perfect diaper bag, and picking a name, we also made it a priority to create security for baby and for us with term life insurance.
Read MoreBaby will be here any time in the next few weeks, so I have the common itch to nest. But the nesting bug is combined with my own type-a, list-loving, clean freak, anxious personality, and a messy mid-renovation house. So, Iβve devised a list of things Iβd like to have done by the time baby gets here.

Iβm here to give you the scoop and also ask your thoughts on the matter. Iβm covering the layout and the initial design concept.

Read MoreWeβre passionate about our environment and care deeply about providing a safe, healthy, and equitable planet for all. One of the ways that we can work towards this goal is by focusing on large-scale advancement of clean energy to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels that pollute our land, poison our communities, and overheat our planet. In this post, Iβll introduce you to a clean electricity advocate, Olivia Nedd, who is the Policy Director of the Access & Equity Program for Vote Solar who will speak to the importance of why we need to bring all races and incomes along in this energy shift. My baby is two! Timeβs flyingβ¦ we wish we could slow down these yearsβ¦ I canβt believe sheβs twoβ¦ and all those other clichΓ© things to say. We celebrated her second trip around the sun in our backyard with a small gathering of friends.
What Iβm binge watching, the things I ordered for summertime fun, an incredible legacy, ranking films, a dozen things to say to your kids daily, design decisions, sibling bonds, and more.
I have such love for my historic house, but Iβve shamefully been neglecting the exterior paint. The tired finish was peeling and the faded colors did no justice to the architectural beauty of my 1915 craftsman bungalow. It was time for a change - a transformation that would honor the home's history while infusing it with fresh energy.
The thrill of renovating outdoor spaces is they always get better with age. We overhauled our backyard last year and the plant growth during this last trip around the sun is wild! Get ready for lots oβ photos.
